Neoprene supports offer support only. They squeeze the elbow or joint and as such prohibit full movement or the joint. That's it. Nothing more. It has been medically proven that neoprene supports absorb only a tiny fraction of the damaging vibrations that cause so much of the damage. By comparison Lastrap supports absorb a significant proportion of the damaging vibrations allowing your body to heal itself.

The Lastrap range of supports offer so much more. I will use our tennis elbow support as an example. Firstly the tennis elbow support is comprised of two separate components, the support and a special patented insert we call our Thermovibe pad insert. The support holds the Thermovibe pad insert in place.

When you get the support the Thermovibe pad insert is quite hard, before fitting your tennis elbow support you have to gently squeeze the Thermovibe pad continuously until is become soft and warm, it will become like a soft putty. It is then placed into the support and kept in place by some velcro pads at the top and bottom. Once fitted into the support you then carefully slip it onto your arm.

Tennis elbow and golfers elbow are both caused by a massive amount of damaging vibrations traveling up the arm from the hand and being absorbed by the elbow joint, tendons and muscles. These cause microscopic rips and tears and it is this that causes the pain and inflammation.
