Why do Lastrap supports work and other supports fail? That is the question that has been answered in incredible detail by a team of scientists. For those people who are not so scientifically minded I have completed an 'in a nut shell' version that is, I hope, understandable by the average person.
Before I go into the how Lastrap Supports work I'd like to comment on the cause of almost all joint pain. Joint pain is almost always caused by vibrations ranging from micro size to enormous. It is these damaging vibrations that cause tiny, microscopic tears/rips in your tendons, muscles and ligaments. Unless your reduce these vibrations the body is not able to heal itself. Reduce these vibrations significantly and the body is able to heal itself.
To make things easier I will use our knee support as an example. The knee support offers two elements of support;

This is a simple band that supports the knee just like any other support. It is this support that holds our special Thermovibe pad insert in place.

This is a yellow pad insert that sits inside of the support and it is this that absorbs much of the damaging vibrations that travel up from the foot into the knee.
