Temperature Control
A large factor in both pain and recovery time is the temperature in which you knee joint is kept. If the knee is too cold or too warm the joint will continue to be painful and will not repair in a reasonable timeframe. If the knee joint is kept reasonably warm the joint pain will subside and the joint itself will recover in far less time. In particularly bad cases where the knee joint is swollen we recommend wearing the knee support in bed for a day with your knee joint raised for a period of 8 hours. This should help with the swelling and the pain and allow the knee to start its recovery.

Vibration Absorption
